My passion for animation started as a kid waking up early before school to watch cartoons, it is here that I knew one day I would be a part of the television and film industry.
My journey started at Freelance Animation School (now Animation College NZ) where I graduated in 2012 with a Diploma in Digital Media and a Diploma in Applied Animation. Learning the fundamentals of film, principles of animation and various other digital arts such as modelling, lighting, and rigging.
I am currently working as a Junior Animator at Weta Digital. I have worked on a wide range of productions from commercials, television shows and feature films and have worked for a variety of studios.
I am always ready to learn more from those more experienced to further develop my skill set, I take criticism constructively which has allowed me to benefit from feedback given from mentors and fellow colleagues. Animation to me is not just about a career but a passion, being able to work with like-minded people within a workplace that inspires creative freedom, is where I would love to be.
My journey continues along a path of the unknown, with every intention of succeeding in what is truly my passion. One day I wish to become an Animation Supervisor or Director for animated feature films.
